CECCHETTI CLASSICAL BALLET
The Cecchetti method is variously defined as a style of classical ballet and as a ballet training method devised by the Italian ballet master Enrico Cecchetti (1850–1928). The training method seeks to develop essential skills in dancers as well as strength and elasticity. Cecchetti-trained dancers are commonly found in ballet and other dance companies throughout the world.
AIDT MODERN DANCE
The A.I.D.T. is an examining body and non-profit Association, whose aim is to promote the teaching and standard of Modern/Jazz, Tap and Hip Hop dancing.
A comprehensive syllabus in all sections enables students from the age of 5 years onwards; to learn the correct technique, develop discipline and musicality, while enjoying the dancing experience.
Careful attention is given to anatomy, as used in dance, to avoid injury through incorrect use of the body.
ACROBATICS
Acrobatic Gymnastics is a dynamic sport that combines dance, gymnastics, and partner stunts.
Athletes perform singly, in pairs or groups, executing choreographed routines to music. These routines include elements like lifts, balances, throws, and tumbling, requiring strength, flexibility, trust, and teamwork.
At the beginner level, acro focuses on developing coordination, basic tumbling skills (like rolls and cartwheels), and simple partner balances to build confidence and body control.
FUN GYM
Fun Gym is an introductory level of the Rhythmic Gymnastics sport that combines elements of ballet, dance, and gymnastics with the use of hand apparatuses such as ribbon, hoop, ball, clubs, and rope.
At this stage, athletes focus on developing flexibility, coordination, balance, and basic body movements like leaps, pivots, and balances.
They also learn simple routines set to music, often using one apparatus at a time. The emphasis is on mastering fundamental skills, improving posture and musicality, and building a strong foundation for more advanced techniques later on.
PILATES
The Pilates method is a series of non-impact exercises designed by Joseph Pilates to develop strength, flexibility, balance and inner-awareness combined with the lateral breathing technique.
